Verrow is a three-chair salon above the lake road. We take one guest at a time, we finish dry, and we tell you plainly what your hair will and will not do between visits.

Prices are a starting point and are quoted again in the chair before we begin. Color pricing follows the amount of product your hair actually needs, and we say so out loud rather than at the desk afterward.

Three chairs, three people. You can request one by name when you book, or leave it to us and we will put you with whoever fits the work.

Founder, color

Neve opened Verrow after eleven years behind other people's chairs, most of them in Spokane. She colors quietly and slowly, favors work that grows out without a line, and will talk you out of a shade that will not survive a North Idaho winter.

Cutting

Marlow cuts dry, almost always, so the shape you leave with is the shape you wake up to. Curls, cowlicks and hair that has been told it is difficult are the work they ask for. They keep a notebook on every guest and remember what did not work last time.

Cutting and color

Ada came to hair from framing and finish carpentry, and it shows in how she measures. She takes the early appointments, handles most of our fringe and gloss work, and is the reason the shelves look the way they do.

Before you come

Come with your hair as you usually wear it. If you are thinking about color, bring photographs of what you like and, if you have them, photographs of what you did not. Cancellations inside twenty-four hours are charged at half the service.
